International Conference on Computer Vision and Graphics
ICCVG-2006, September 25-27, 2006, Warsaw, Poland
Dear Colleagues,
It is our pleasure to invite you to participate in the International Conference on Computer Vision and Graphics to be held in Warsaw on September 25-27, 2006. The aim of this challenging event is to be an International Forum for technical presentations and discussions on latest advances in Computer Vision and Graphics.
Prospective authors are invited to submit orginal contributions on the topics including, but not limited to:

- Image analysis and scene understanding
- Geometrical models of objects and scenes
- Graphics for Internet and mobile systems

- Illumination and reflection models and methods
- Image formation

- Color and multispectral image processing
- Motion analysis, visual navigation and active vision

- Computer-aided graphic design
- 3D imaging, shading and rendering
- Computer animation
- Virtual reality
- Image and video databases
- Digital watermarking
- Multimedia applications
- Computer art
- Industrial applications
The conference will be held at the Polish-Japanese Institute of Information Technology (www.pjwstk.edu.pl) on September 25-27, 2006 in Warsaw, Poland.
The program will include:
- invited papers and tutorials by leading researchers,
- selected contributions in oral and poster sessions,
- young scientists session,
- social events.
The reviewing process and strict acceptance criteria will assure high quality of the accepted papers.
Authors are requested to follow the instructions at the ICCVG-2006 web site and to submit an electronic version (PDF) of a manuscript in English not exceeding 6 pages including all illustrations and references. The size of the PDF files must not exceed 5 MBytes.
Manuscript guidelines and templates as well as instruction on how to submit electronically will be available in the Conference web site http://www.pjwstk.edu.pl/iccvg2006.
All papers submissions must be received by 1st July 2006. Manuscript guidelines and templates for final version will be available after the paper acceptance.
After review and selection of the papers, the authors will be notified of the decision of the Technical Program Committee via e-mail by 15 August 2006. Upon acceptance by the reviewers and Program Committee (selection criteria include orginality of ideas, accuracy and clarity of presentation), authors will be asked to submit a final version of the paper not later then 15 September 2006.
Accepted papers will be published in the Special Issue of the International Journal "Machine Graphics and Vision" -

The authors of the best papers will be invited to contribute to a post-conference monograph, which will be published by Springer
in the renowned series: "Studies in Computational Intelligence".
- Paper submission - 1 July 2006, NEW - 20 July,
- Notification of acceptance - 31 July 2006, NEW - 15 August,
- Final paper submission - 15 August 2006, NEW - 15 September.
The registration fee is 270€ (Euro). The fee will include:
- The Conference Proceedings,
- Coffee breaks,
- Welcome Cocktail,
- Gala Dinner.
Each registration fee might include up to two (2) papers, the presentation of which will be included in the Conference Program and published in the Conference Proceedings.
